The Big Ten's expansion has opened new recruiting avenues, and Minnesota is making strategic moves to capitalize on this opportunity. Recently, they've extended an offer to Ma'atoe Moe, a promising defensive lineman from Provo, Utah.
This marks Moe's first Big Ten offer, adding to his list that includes BYU and Boise State. Excitingly, Moe has scheduled an official visit to the Gophers for May 29th.
In a conversation with GopherIllustrated, Moe expressed his enthusiasm about Minnesota. "Minnesota is definitely one of my top schools right now," he shared.
"I can see myself playing there and being developed in Minnesota. I also want to be able to go out to Minneapolis and see the campus and meet the coaches in person."
Moe's interest in the Golden Gophers is clear, and his upcoming visit could be a pivotal step in his recruitment journey.
