The Big Ten Conference and Minnesota have laid out the broadcast map for the Golden Gophers’ 2026-27 men’s basketball season, and the schedule is spread across a wide mix of TV windows and streaming platforms.
Minnesota is slated for 16 games on Big Ten Network, the heaviest share of any outlet in the release. FS1 will carry five games, while Peacock and NBCSN account for four more.
The Gophers’ two games in the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic, on Nov. 20 and Nov. 22, will air on ESPN 2, and the Nov. 9 game at Cincinnati will be on ESPN +. The Dec. 12 matchup against SMU still does not have a time or broadcast assignment.
Several early nonconference dates will live on streaming services. Minnesota’s Oct. 15 exhibition against Omaha, the Nov. 2 season opener against North Dakota, the Nov. 12 game against Southern and the Dec. 29 nonconference finale against UTSA are all set for B1G+.
The Oct. 23 exhibition at Creighton will be streamed on the Bluejays’ YouTube page at 7:30 p.m., free of charge.
Peacock’s four games include Nov. 6 against St. Thomas, Dec. 8 against Illinois, Feb. 9 at UCLA and Feb. 21 against Northwestern.
Big Ten Network’s slate is packed with conference action and a few nonconference matchups, including Nov. 16 vs. Western Ill., Nov. 28 vs.
Cal at the Pentagon, Dec. 2 at Michigan State, Dec. 16 vs. Texas Southern, Dec. 20 vs.
Alcorn State, Jan. 3 at Northwestern, Jan. 6 vs. Penn State, Jan. 9 at Wisconsin, Jan. 12 at Michigan, Jan. 17 vs.
Purdue, Jan. 20 vs. Indiana, Jan. 23 at Rutgers, Jan. 26 vs.
Washington, Feb. 13 vs. Oregon, Feb. 24 at Maryland and Feb. 27 at Iowa.
FS1’s five-game package features Jan. 31 vs. Wisconsin, Feb. 6 at USC, Feb. 16 vs.
Michigan, March 4 vs. Ohio State and March 7 at Nebraska.
ESPN 2 will handle the Charleston Classic games against Oklahoma State and Utah, while the Creighton exhibition remains on YouTube through the Bluejays’ site.
