Packers Fans Can't Believe Disrespectful Schedule Change

An unexpected scheduling shift sees the Packers-Bears clash pushed to an early slot, signaling changing fortunes in this age-old rivalry.

The Packers-Bears matchup in Week 5 will no longer be part of FOX’s late-afternoon showcase. The NFL has flexed the game at Lambeau Field from the 3:25 PM Central “Game of the Week” slot to a 12:00 Noon Central kickoff.

That change comes after the early-season picture shifted quickly. Green Bay entered the year with the game lined up as one of the network’s priorities after the two teams split the 2025 regular-season series and then added a thriller in the Wild Card round. But through three weeks, the Packers are 1-2, with their only win coming in overtime against the New York Jets, and Chicago still won’t have Caleb Williams for a few more weeks as he continues to recover from a hamstring strain.

With the Packers-Bears game moved earlier, FOX will now use 49ers-Seahawks as its more attractive late-afternoon national window.

The flex also changes the spotlight on Green Bay’s new “Rivalries” uniforms. The Packers are set to wear them for the first time in this game, while the Bears will unveil theirs in the Christmas Day rematch at Soldier Field.

There’s another wrinkle here, too: this means both Packers-Bears games will kick off at Noon Central only the second time in more than 20 years. The holiday rematch will still air nationally, and the same unusual setup also happened in 2024, though that Week 18 kickoff wasn’t finalized until the end of the season. Before that, the last time it happened was 2004, which also featured a season-ending meeting.

Bucks Fans Have Every Reason To Fear The Leagues Next Move

The leagues review of Gary Trent Jr.s four-year, $64 million extension has put the Bucks in an uncomfortable spot, with the NBA looking into whether the deal crossed into salary-cap circumvention. It is the kind of front-office issue that can quickly become more than a paperwork problem, especially for a team trying to build around its current core and keep its roster plans intact.

Draymond Greens comments only added to the unease, pointing to the possibility of severe punishment if the NBA decides Milwaukee deserves a response along the lines of what the Clippers faced in their own case. For now, the investigation is still open and the outcome remains unresolved, which leaves Bucks fans waiting to see whether this turns into a routine league inquiry or something far more damaging. Jaime Jaquez Jr. Is Putting Pressure On The Bucks This Season

Jaime Jaquez Jr. is not spending much time looking ahead as training camp gets underway, even though his name is already circulating in discussions about what a future deal might look like in Milwaukee. For now, the Bucks forward is keeping his focus on the present season, where his play will help determine whether he locks down a starting small forward role and builds real momentum with the team.

There is clearly a bigger financial picture hovering in the background, and the kind of extension being floated would mark a major commitment if it ever comes together. But with no official decisions or agreement in place yet, the Bucks are left watching how Jaquez handles the opportunity in front of him, knowing this season could go a long way toward shaping what comes next. Bucks Camp Is Already Testing A Roster Built Without Giannis

The Bucks were back on the floor for the second day of training camp, and the early message out of practice was clear: this is a different team, with different responsibilities and a much different shape after trading Giannis Antetokounmpo. Head coach Taylor Jenkins pointed to the groups depth, especially on the perimeter, and leaned into the idea that Milwaukee can lean on its guard and wing options in ways it simply could not before.

Kyle Kuzma is one of the veterans expected to help hold that together, both by setting the tone and by bringing along younger teammates as camp opens. After a season defined by injuries and too little scoring, the Bucks are trying to establish a new baseline quickly, and the first few days have already shown how much the roster will be tested as it learns to function without its old centerpiece.
