Kyle Kuzma didn’t hold back after Enes Kanter’s latest WNBA flashpoint.
Kanter, who has been making headlines in recent weeks after saying he intends to declare for the 2027 WNBA Draft, drew even more attention on Sunday when he showed up for the Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky game. Sky guard Natasha Cloud was not happy to see him there, and the situation quickly turned heated.
Cloud and Kanter got into a shouting match, with Cloud pointing toward the former NBA center, who was seated along the baseline. Kanter responded by stepping toward the baseline himself, turning the moment into a tense scene that officials had to break up. He was eventually escorted out of the building.
The episode was enough to prompt a sharp reaction from Kuzma, who fired off a post on his official X account.
“Look at the drama queen….. no not Natasha. Grown man stepping over the baseline at a women 🤡,” Kuzma wrote.
Kanter’s comments about who is eligible for the WNBA have already made him a polarizing figure, and Sunday only added fuel to the fire. His presence at Wintrust Arena clearly didn’t sit well with Cloud, who wasn’t willing to let his stance go unanswered.
For Kuzma, watching a former NBA peer take this path has clearly been hard to miss. Kanter, who has changed his surname to Freedom, was drafted third overall in the 2011 NBA Draft and spent 11 years in the league.
