Jordan Love Teams Up With Olympic Star for Brewers Opening Day Pitch

Stars align in Milwaukee as Packers' Jordan Love and Olympian Jordan Stolz prepare for a memorable Opening Day pitch, kicking off the Brewers' 2026 season with flair.

The Milwaukee Brewers are set to kick off the 2026 MLB season with not just one, but two stars making ceremonial first pitches on Opening Day. As they face off against the Chicago White Sox at American Family Field, fans will be treated to appearances by Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love and Olympic gold medalist Jordan Stolz.

The Brewers had already announced that Love would be on the mound for the first pitch. Now, they've added Stolz to the lineup, fresh off his impressive performance at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

Stolz, a Wisconsin native, captured gold in both the 500 meters and 1000 meters speed skating events, and also snagged a silver in the 1500 meters. His record-setting time of 1:06.28 at the Milano Speed Skating Stadium was a highlight of the games.

Stolz expressed his excitement about his Olympic success, sharing, “Yeah, it’s really cool that I was able to win in front of both of them, I guess. I’m sure they were enjoying it. I definitely didn’t disappoint them.”

The Brewers are hoping that the presence of these two stars, each excelling in their respective arenas, will bring some extra energy as they open their season against a White Sox team featuring Shane Smith on the mound.

Meanwhile, the Brewers are looking to pitcher Jacob Misiorowski, who had a solid season last year with a 5-3 record and a 4.36 ERA, to help set the tone for the new campaign. With the excitement of Opening Day and the added flair of two celebrated athletes, the Brewers are aiming to start their season with a spark.
