He went viral last season for headbutting teammate Michael Fasusi before a goal-line play against Tennessee, a moment he later described as simply “bringing that source of energy.” Brent Venables has also labeled him “an alpha,” pointing to his physicality as a key trait on the Sooners’ offensive line.
Saturday’s broadcast delivered another strange sideline scene as well. Oklahoma’s ball boy drew attention for refusing to hand over a loose football during a scrum with Michigan players, giving Fox plenty of lighter material during the game.
