Michigan football has a chance to make the Oklahoma game one of the biggest recruiting weekends on its calendar, and the Wolverines need to load the Big House with as many top targets as possible. Some prospects have already said they’ll be there, while others are still sorting out their visit plans.
There are eight names Michigan fans should have on their radar for that trip.
Vince Mosley Jr. is one of the headliners. The 2029 quarterback is drawing plenty of attention already, and with Michigan potentially missing on Donald Tabron in the 2028 class, the Wolverines may have to look in another direction. Mosley is becoming one of the most coveted passers in his class.
Another key name is JJ Chevalier, a 2029 athlete Michigan needs to keep close to home. He has already been to the Big House, and he appeared excited about his offer from the Wolverines on social media, though that came from the previous coach.
Michigan also wants to stay in the mix for Mataio Fano, the 2028 offensive tackle and younger brother of Spencer Fano. He may not be ranked as highly as his brother, but the family connection matters, and learning from Jim Harding would be a strong fit for the Wolverines. Spencer eventually picked Utah over Michigan, but Mataio is currently viewed as a Michigan lean, and the Wolverines should have a real shot at him down the line.
Tavite Nasio is another offensive line target to watch. The 2029 tackle came over from England and has already piled up offers. He has been on campus before, too, and at 6-foot-5, he is still growing.
Luke Hubler, a 2029 offensive lineman, also belongs on the list. He was Savion Hiter’s former teammate in Virginia, which gives Michigan another angle.
The two are expected to stay in touch about the possibility of ending up together in Ann Arbor. Hubler visited Michigan in June and is building a relationship with Harding.
On the defensive side, Asa Burch is a 2028 edge rusher Michigan is battling hard to land. He’s another Warren Harding recruit out of Ohio, following in the same general pipeline as Prescott Burgess.
His father played at Michigan in the 1990s, and the Wolverines are in the fight for his commitment. Still, Burch was also thrilled when Ohio State offered him.
Kingston Stroshine is one of the more intriguing linebackers in the 2029 class. The freshman All-American from Utah is on track to be a recruit every major program will chase. He’s described as a gym rat, with baseball as his secondary sport.
Finally, there’s Lamarcus Army, a 2028 defensive back and another Cass Tech product from Detroit. He’s teammates with Antijuan Wilkes and Donald Tabron, though getting all three to Michigan would be difficult.
