Men’s Basketball
The excitement is palpable as No. 3-seed Michigan State gears up for its 17th Sweet 16 appearance under the legendary Tom Izzo.
The Spartans are set to clash with No. 2 UConn this Friday at 9:45 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
The stakes are high, with the winner advancing to face either No. 1 Duke or No.
5 St. John's in the Elite Eight.
Hockey
On the ice, Michigan State skates in as the No. 3 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
The Spartans will take on UConn as the top seed in the Worcester Regional on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. A victory would propel them to face either Dartmouth or Wisconsin, with a coveted spot in the Frozen Four on the line.
Baseball
The Spartans hit the road for a Tuesday matchup against Central Michigan at 3 p.m.
They’ll then return to home turf for a three-game Big Ten showdown against Purdue from Friday to Sunday. First pitches are set for 3:32 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a 1:02 p.m. start on Sunday.
Men’s Golf
The greens are calling as Michigan State concludes its run at The Duck Invitational on Tuesday. Currently sitting in third place among 15 teams, the Spartans are competing at the Eugene Country Club in Oregon.
Softball
The Spartans kick off the week hosting Toledo on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Following that, they’ll travel to Columbus for a Big Ten series against Ohio State from Friday to Sunday, with Sunday’s game airing on the Big Ten Network.
Men’s Tennis
Ranked No.
28, Michigan State is poised for a weekend of intense competition, hosting No. 24 USC on Friday at 5 p.m. and No.
20 UCLA on Sunday at noon.
Women’s Golf
The No. 43-ranked Spartans head to the Clemson Invitational from Friday through Sunday. After a strong third-place finish at the Briars Creek Invitational, they’ll be competing at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in South Carolina.
Rowing
Michigan State’s rowing team launches its season at the Sarasota 2K on Friday and Saturday in Florida. The team enters the competition ranked No. 20 in the CRCA Preseason Coaches Poll.
Track & Field
The track and field squad travels to North Carolina for the Raleigh Relays, a three-day event hosted by North Carolina State from Thursday through Saturday.
Women’s Tennis
The No.
75 Spartans are on the road this weekend, facing No. 28 Wisconsin on Friday and wrapping up against Minnesota on Sunday.
Women’s Soccer
In spring exhibition action, Michigan State takes on Eastern Michigan this Saturday at 1 p.m.
Men’s Soccer
The Spartans will host Dayton in a spring exhibition match on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the DeMartin Soccer Complex.
