The Miami Marlins’ 40-man roster comes with a lot of moving parts, and the 2027 contract picture is especially light on long-term commitments. Outside of a handful of arbitration cases, the roster is mostly built around pre-arbitration players, with very little fully guaranteed money on the books.
There are 45 players listed here because the group includes several names currently on the 60-day injured list. Those players will need to be reinstated from the IL after the World Series, and the roster breakdown will change again after major league transactions during the 2026-27 offseason.
Arbitration estimates in this breakdown come from MLB Trade Rumors. Pre-arbitration players are generally earning close to the MLB minimum salary, which was $780,000 for 2026.
Here’s how the roster stacks up, alphabetically:
Maximo Acosta is pre-arbitration, while Sandy Alcantara has a club option for 2027 at $21 million with a $2 million buyout.
Anthony Bender is in his fourth year of arbitration eligibility, with a $3.4 million projection. Brandan Bidois, Bradley Blalock, Zach Brzykcy, Owen Caissie, Griffin Conine, Deyvison De Los Santos and Logan Driscoll are all pre-arbitration.
Xavier Edwards is in his first year of arbitration eligibility with a $3.5 million projection, and Josh Ekness is pre-arbitration.
Pete Fairbanks is a free agent. Calvin Faucher is in his second year of arbitration eligibility with a $2.9 million projection, while Dax Fulton, Wikelman González and Ryan Gusto are pre-arbitration.
Ronny Henriquez, who is on the 60-day IL, is pre-arbitration. Heriberto Hernández and Janson Junk are also pre-arbitration. William Kempner, also on the 60-day IL, is pre-arbitration.
Otto Lopez is in his first year of arbitration eligibility with a $5.4 million projection. Joe Mack and Jakob Marsee are pre-arbitration. Adam Mazur, who is on the 60-day IL, is pre-arbitration.
Max Meyer is in his second year of arbitration eligibility with a $2.7 million projection. Patrick Monteverde is pre-arbitration, and Andrew Nardi, who is on the 60-day IL, is in his second year of arbitration eligibility with a $1.1 million projection.
Brian Navarreto and Graham Pauley are pre-arbitration. Eury Pérez is in his first year of arbitration eligibility with a $3.2 million projection, and Michael Petersen and Tyler Phillips are pre-arbitration.
Jack Ralston, Agustín Ramírez, Javier Sanoja, Jared Serna and Josh White are all pre-arbitration. Robby Snelling, who is on the 60-day IL, is also pre-arbitration.
The arbitration group also includes Esteury Ruiz, who is in his first year of eligibility with a $1.3 million projection, Kyle Stowers, who is projected at $3.2 million in his first year, and Victor Vodnik, who is projected at $1.4 million in his first year.

Victor Vodnik Arrives With A Marlins Connection Fans Will Want To Hear
Victor Vodniks arrival gives the Marlins another arm with real upside, and it comes with a built-in South Florida connection that makes the move feel a little more personal. The midseason trade from Colorado brought in a reliever with major league experience, and the profile is the kind front offices tend to chase: a fastball that has played at a premium level and the sort of ground-ball approach that can survive in a lot of different leverage spots.
The part Marlins fans will want to know is how far back that relationship goes. Vodnik has been mentored for years by retired Miami pitcher Ricky Nolasco, a tie that runs back to his development stage and adds an unexpected layer to a standard deadline deal. For a team always looking for useful bullpen help, it is the kind of detail that makes a new addition feel less like a spreadsheet move and more like a story already in motion. [Read more 🡒]
