For Miami, the 2026 season may not be decided in September or November. It may come down to what happens in the middle.
The Hurricanes have spent the last two seasons getting tripped up when the schedule tightens. During the lone Cam Ward season, key losses derailed playoff hopes.
Last year, defeats against SMU and Louisville nearly rattled the foundation of the program. Now the pressure point is back, and it lands right in the heart of the schedule.
Miami opens with Stanford on Sep. 4, then gets FAMU on Sep. 10, Wake Forest on Sep. 18, and Central Michigan on Sep.
