The Miami Hurricanes are rolling out the red carpet this summer for Monshun Sales, a five-star talent who's turning heads across the nation. Sales, a standout from Lawrence North High School in Indiana, is set to visit the Hurricanes on June 19, as part of his tour of top college programs.
Ranked 10th nationally and second among wide receivers by 247SportsComposite, Sales brings a dynamic presence to the field. His versatility is unmatched, excelling as a wide receiver, safety, and even on special teams.
Over two seasons, he’s racked up 71 receptions for 1,362 yards, averaging an impressive 19.2 yards per catch, and scoring 16 touchdowns. On defense, he's recorded 67 tackles, showcasing his all-around athletic prowess.
Sales' recruitment journey is heating up, with official visits lined up at Indiana, Alabama, and Ohio State. The Indiana Hoosiers, fresh off a remarkable turnaround under Coach Curt Cignatti, will be his first stop on April 29. For Sales, who grew up just 52 miles from campus, committing to Indiana could be the ultimate homecoming story.
Next on the itinerary is Alabama on May 29. The Crimson Tide is in a period of transition following the departure of legendary coach Nick Saban. Despite a tough loss to Georgia in the SEC Championship and a Rose Bowl exit, Alabama remains a powerhouse with a legacy of success.
Before heading to Miami, Sales will visit Ohio State on June 12. The Buckeyes, boasting two top-10 Heisman candidates in Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith, are eager to maintain their competitive edge after narrowly missing consecutive National Championships.
With Miami as his final stop, the Hurricanes have the opportunity to leave a lasting impression. As Sales wraps up his visits in South Florida, the program will look to make their pitch count, hoping to sway this elite recruit to join their ranks.
