Jaiden Bryant has already made his move from LSU to Miami, and the five-star prospect is now fully bought in on the Hurricanes. Since flipping his commitment, Bryant has leaned into Miami’s culture and become one of the headline names in the class.
Miami on SI recently caught up with Bryant for a Q&A that went beyond football, using a few lighter questions to get a better feel for the player off the field. Among the prompts were questions about his favorite spot on campus that is not football-related and his favorite memory from his Miami OV.
Bryant’s commitment is part of a broader wave of recruiting momentum for Miami. The Hurricanes also landed four-star receiver Eli Woodard, who chose Miami even though his high school quarterback is committed to California.
The program has kept working the board in multiple classes, too. Miami recently offered 2027 three-star UNLV commit Jaylen Fitzgerald, and Boston College also entered the picture with an offer. The Hurricanes and the Eagles are expected to keep pushing for the tight end, who is the nephew of NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald.
Looking ahead, Miami is already mapping out its running back targets for the 2028 class after securing four-star Ty Keys in 2027. One name to watch is Terriel Harmon of West Boca High School, who recently spoke with Miami on SI about where the Hurricanes stand in his recruitment.
Miami also added a quarterback to the future mix with the commitment of 2029 QB CJ Cypher. He is expected to rank among the top quarterbacks in the country once the 2029 class rankings are released. Along with three-star 2028 quarterback Knox Amis and 2027 four-star quarterback Israel Abrams, Cypher gives Miami a strong future outlook at the position.
No matter who ends up under center down the line, the Hurricanes are continuing to chase receiver talent to pair with those quarterbacks. With Woodard and Nick Lennear already committed in the 2027 class, Miami is now pressing for elite 2028 wideouts as well. Early names to keep an eye on there include Madoxx Davis, Brysen Wright, and Tromon Isaac.
