The third day of the 2026 NBA Summer League gave this rookie class another chance to flash what it can do, and a handful of first-year players made the most of their minutes.
Some of the performances came with the usual rookie wrinkles - efficiency wasn’t always clean - but there were still several stat lines that stood out across the board.
Carr delivered one of the loudest scoring nights, pouring in 26 points to go with 8 rebounds and an assist. He shot 7-of-16 from the field and 4-of-9 from 3-point range. After three seasons in college, ending with a year at Baylor, Carr was selected No. 24 overall in the 2026 draft class.
Sutton also put together a strong all-around outing in the Kings’ 91-85 win against Golden State. He finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds, a steal and zero turnovers, while shooting 5-of-8 from the field, 1-of-3 from deep and 4-of-7 from the charity stripe.
Sutton was a team-high +17 in the box score. He went undrafted after a five-year college career that finished with a season at LSU.
Humrichous added 15 points, 8 rebounds, an assist and 2 steals, knocking down 5-of-12 from 3-point range and finishing 5-of-13 overall. He went undrafted in the 2026 class after helping Illinois reach the Final Four as a senior.
Lendeborg kept his name in the mix with an 11-point, 8-rebound effort that also included 2 assists, 2 blocks and a steal. He shot 4-of-11 from the field and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc in a 98-69 win against San Antonio. Lendeborg was picked No. 11 overall in the 2026 NBA Draft after helping Michigan win the national championship a few months earlier.
Boyd did a little bit of everything, posting 11 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds and a steal while going 4-of-7 from the field. He missed both of his 3-point tries and went 2-of-2 at the line. After a six-year college career, Boyd signed with the Warriors as an undrafted free agent.
Donaldson was efficient in his own right, finishing with 11 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds and a steal while going a perfect 4-of-4 from the field. He also hit his only 3-point attempt and his only free throw. The University of Miami product signed a two-way contract with the Heat after going undrafted.
White scored 11 points and added 6 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal. He shot 2-of-4 from the field, with both attempts coming from beyond the arc, and made both of his free throws. White went undrafted after spending his senior season at Kansas.
Brennan logged 10 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block in an 89-69 victory against Milwaukee. He shot 5-of-11 from the field and missed his lone free throw. The big man signed with Brooklyn as an undrafted free agent after spending his senior season at Villanova.
Brown finished with 9 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals, and he was a team-high +27 in the box score. He shot 4-of-9 from the field, 1-of-4 from deep and 0-of-1 from the free throw line. Brown went undrafted after helping Saint Louis secure an NCAA Tournament win against Georgia as a senior.

Khris Middletons next move is now clear, and it does not send him to Miami. The veteran wing has agreed to a sign-and-trade deal with the Washington Wizards, a transaction reported by ESPNs Shams Charania that also ties in the Dallas Mavericks and closes the door on a pursuit that had lingered around the league.
For the Wizards, it is another step toward building a veteran core they believe can push into the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Heats post-Giannis outlook has already shifted from dream-chasing to damage control. After swinging big to land Giannis Antetokounmpo, Miami has little left in the way of premium trade chips, which is why any talk of another headline-grabbing addition has to be viewed through a much tighter lens than before.
Kevin Durant has naturally surfaced as the kind of name that keeps Miami in the conversation, but the path there looks far steeper than it sounds. With most of the valuable assets already spent in the Giannis deal, another blockbuster would come at a punishing cost, and the sense around the league is that this is not a realistic lane right now.
