He spent most of his time at San Diego State before transferring to the University of Arizona for his final season of eligibility. That move gave him a bigger spotlight and helped showcase his versatility on both ends of the floor.
Despite going undrafted in 2024, Johnson caught the attention of the Miami Heat-a team known for developing talent others overlook. He signed on and has since appeared in 37 games over his first two NBA seasons.
