LSU’s season opener had fireworks on the field and trouble in the tailgate lot, where Kick streamer Snarp’s latest stunt blew up in his face.
Snarp, who has built a following off chaotic college football “rage-bait” videos, has made a name for himself by showing up in an LSU Tigers jersey and poking at rival fanbases like Alabama and Ole Miss on their own turf. This time, he took the act straight into Baton Rouge and the famous LSU tailgate scene outside Tiger Stadium, rolling through the massive, loud crowd with his crew while streaming live on Kick.
The plan was the usual one: stir people up, find some tense back-and-forth, and chase the kind of viral reaction Snarp’s audience expects. He also spent time talking with unusual local characters, but the mood eventually turned ugly.
In the footage, one LSU fan appeared furious and got in Snarp’s face before cocking his fist back and punching the streamer. Snarp hit the ground and reportedly suffered a broken jaw.
Others stepped in and pushed the man away before the situation could get worse.
It was not the only fight tied to LSU fans that day, either.
Inside Tiger Stadium, LSU delivered a completely different kind of beatdown, crushing Clemson 51-10 in the 2026 season opener. A severe two-hour lightning storm pushed back kickoff and threatened to drag the night down, but LSU never lost control once the game got going.
The Tigers piled up 644 total yards of offense and tore through Clemson’s defense. Sam Leavitt and running back Dilin Jones each went over 100 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns apiece. On the other side of the ball, LSU made life miserable for Clemson, holding the Tigers to just 145 total yards and limiting them to 1-for-13 on third down.
The 41-point rout was an emphatic debut for head coach Lane Kiffin.
