Tyreek Hill is in the midst of a challenging rehab journey after a significant left knee injury during the Miami Dolphins' Week 4 victory over the New York Jets, 27-21. The Dolphins have since released Hill, but his former teammate Jaylen Waddle recently shared a remarkable story about Hill's resilience.
Appearing on "The Set Show" with Terron Armstead, Waddle recounted how Hill was already doing squats just two months post-injury. It's a testament to Hill's determination and tenacity.

Waddle expressed confidence in Hill's potential for a strong comeback, saying, “He was such a dog on the field, and to see him go down like that is always hard. Two months out of his injury, he's squatting, and I said, ‘This boy different.'
That boy different. He's gonna come back CRAZY… You know, Cheetah - he feels like people doubting him now.”
Hill's ability to squat so soon after such a severe injury is nothing short of impressive. Yet, his return to the gridiron remains uncertain. The eight-time Pro Bowler aims to play in the 2026-27 season, but the exact timeline for his comeback is still up in the air.
At 32, Hill has faced a couple of frustrating seasons in Miami, failing to surpass the 1,000-yard mark since 2023. Now a free agent, any team considering signing him will want to ensure he clears a physical. Over his 10-year NFL career, Hill has amassed 819 receptions, 11,363 yards, and 83 touchdowns.
As the offseason progresses, Hill will have time to focus on his recovery. With the NFL's free agency negotiation window opening on March 9, all eyes will be on Hill's next move and his anticipated return to the field.
