Boise State’s first public depth chart of the 2026 season arrived Monday, and the Broncos wasted no time revealing a few wrinkles before Saturday’s home opener against Memphis.
One of the biggest surprises was the absence of redshirt freshman right tackle Jacob Tracy. Tracy had been pushing returning starter Daylon Metoyer for reps during fall camp, but Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson said Monday that Tracy suffered a season-ending injury before Week 1.
The Broncos also still have work to do in the kicking game. The battle between Colton Boomer and Canaan Moore remains unsettled, with Boomer handling kickoffs in Week 1 against No. 2 Oregon and Moore taking over field goals and PATs.
Boise State and Oregon both chose not to release depth charts before that season opener, which ended in a 34-27 Ducks win after Oregon erased a 10-point first-half deficit at Autzen Stadium.
Now the Broncos turn to Memphis, and the first two-deep gives a clearer look at how Boise State is lining up on both sides of the ball and in special teams.
On offense, the depth chart lists Quinton Brown or Terrious Favors, Darren Morris or Qumonte Williams Jr., Carter Kuchenbuch or Keawe Browne, Jameson Perry or Greg Bienvenue, Alma Taleni or Connor Warkentin, Deuce Alailefaleula or Ryder Swanson, and JeRico Washington Jr. or Jaden Mickey. Among those names, Brown, Morris, Taleni and Washington Jr. are all listed with the first unit, while the Broncos sort through competition and rotation elsewhere on the board.
