The Memphis Grizzlies will open the 2026-27 season at FedExForum on Oct. 21 against the Utah Jazz, in a matchup that features two Rookie of the Year candidates. Darryn Peterson and the Jazz come to Memphis for the first game of the NBA’s newly released schedule, giving the Grizzlies an early spotlight right out of the gate.
The league’s full slate also includes a few dates that stand out immediately for Memphis. Ja Morant returns to Memphis on Feb. 6 when the Portland Trail Blazers visit FedExForum, and the Blazers come back again on Feb.
- Memphis also travels to Portland on Oct.
- On Jan. 18, the Grizzlies will host the Houston Rockets in the annual MLK Day game, and that one will air nationally on Peacock.
Another notable home game comes on Feb. 3, when LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers visit Memphis. The franchise has not yet announced its local TV coverage plans for the 2026-27 season.
Memphis begins with a busy opening stretch in October. After the season opener against Utah, the Grizzlies head to Golden State on Oct. 23, then to Sacramento on Oct. 25 and back to Utah on Oct.
- The month closes with the road trip to Portland on Oct. 29 and a home game against the Kings on Oct.
December brings a long run of games after the calendar turns, starting with road matchups at Philadelphia on Dec. 1 and Detroit on Dec. 2.
The schedule then lists NBA Cup knockout round or regular-season games on Dec. 4/5/6/7 and Dec. 9/10/11, with both sets marked TBD. Memphis also has home games against Milwaukee on Dec.
12, Golden State on Dec. 14, Miami on Dec.
16, Houston on Dec. 18, Phoenix on Dec.
20, Toronto on Dec. 23 and San Antonio on Dec. 29, plus road games at New Orleans on Dec. 21, the LA Clippers on Dec. 26 and the LA Lakers on Dec. 27.
January is packed, too. The Grizzlies open the month at Orlando on Jan. 3, then play at Miami on Jan. 5, at Houston on Jan. 7 and at San Antonio on Jan.
- Home games against Dallas on Jan. 10 and Jan. 12 are followed by trips to Denver on Jan. 14, and then the Cavaliers come to Memphis on Jan. 16 before the Rockets arrive for the MLK Day game on Jan.
- The month finishes with road games at Phoenix on Jan.
20, Oklahoma City on Jan. 22 and Jan. 28, and Utah on Jan. 30, along with a home game against Minnesota on Jan. 25.
February centers around the home stand against Portland and a dense stretch of Eastern and Western Conference opponents. After the Feb. 3 meeting with Philadelphia, Memphis hosts Portland on Feb. 6 and Feb. 8, then gets Orlando on Feb. 10, the Clippers on Feb. 12, the Knicks on Feb. 15, the Spurs on Feb. 17 and the Celtics on Feb.
- The month closes with a road game at San Antonio on Feb. 26 and a home date with Sacramento on Feb.
March and April round out the regular season with a mix of tough road games and late home tests. Memphis visits the Knicks on March 2, the Hawks on March 4, Dallas on March 9, Boston on March 11, Chicago on March 13, Golden State on March 17, the Clippers on March 18, Indiana on March 24 and Brooklyn on March 28. Home games in that stretch include New Orleans on March 6, Atlanta on March 8, Phoenix on March 15, Oklahoma City on March 20, Charlotte on March 22, Chicago on March 25 and the Lakers on March 30.
The final week sends the Grizzlies to Houston on April 2 and Denver on April 4 before closing at home against Detroit on April 6 and Washington on April 7. Memphis ends the regular season on the road at Phoenix on April 9 and Dallas on April 11.
