LSU's Mansoor Delane Stuns Scouts at Pro Day with Unbelievable Speed

LSU's 2026 Pro Day showcased top talent with standout performances, headlined by Mansoor Delane's record-breaking speed and promising displays from key players eyeing the NFL Draft.

The LSU 2026 Pro Day was a showcase of talent, with 17 former Tigers putting their skills on display for NFL scouts, all eager to make their mark ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft.

Among the standout performers was defensive back Mansoor Delane, who stole the spotlight with a blazing 3.45 in the 40-yard dash. His agility and conditioning during position workouts further solidified his status as a player to watch.

Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier also turned heads. After recovering from an abdominal injury, Nussmeier looked sharp, throwing with confidence and precision.

Fresh off his Senior Bowl MVP accolade, he expressed his comfort in being able to perform at his best, emphasizing that he’s focused on being himself rather than proving anything. He’s in a competitive race to be the third quarterback selected, with Fernando Mendoza and TY Simpson projected to go earlier.

Wide receiver Chris Hilton Jr. made significant strides in boosting his draft stock. He impressed with a 38.5-inch vertical jump, the best among his peers, and clocked the fastest 40-yard dash at 4.41. Hilton also excelled in the 20-yard shuttle and 3-cone drill, showcasing his explosive athleticism.

Linebacker Harold Perkins Jr. demonstrated his remarkable speed, running a 4.40 in the 40-yard dash, outpacing even the wide receivers. His athletic prowess positions him as a likely second to third-round pick in the draft.

These athletes, along with their fellow LSU prospects, are eagerly anticipating the 2026 NFL Draft, set to take place from April 23-25 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each player is hopeful that their hard work and dedication will be rewarded with a call to join the professional ranks.
