LSU just added some serious size and depth to its offensive line pipeline, and Lane Kiffin’s latest pickup could be a key piece of the Tigers’ future up front.
Adrian Lamb, a 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive tackle out of Georgia Military College, has committed to LSU, choosing the Tigers over offers from Alabama, Auburn, and South Carolina, among others. Ranked the No. 26 junior college offensive tackle nationally, Lamb also checks in at No. 189 overall among JUCO prospects and No. 8 in the state of South Carolina, according to 247Sports.
Lamb played his high school ball at Beaufort High in Beaufort, South Carolina, before taking the JUCO route-a path that’s often a proving ground for linemen who need time to grow physically or refine technique. At his size, Lamb already has the frame to compete in the SEC trenches, and with a spring semester to finish at GMC, he’s expected to arrive in Baton Rouge this May ready to go.
He’s part of a strong second wave of additions for LSU’s 2026 class heading into the February signing period. Lamb joins fellow junior college offensive tackle JaKolby Jones, a 6-foot-4, 285-pounder from Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi. Jones, originally from Many, Louisiana, committed to LSU on January 8 and is also expected to sign this week.
And if that wasn’t enough, LSU’s offensive line haul includes one of the biggest names in the transfer portal: Jordan Seaton. The 6-foot-5, 330-pound tackle transferred from Colorado and was widely regarded as the No. 1 offensive tackle available in the portal this cycle.
Put all that together, and it’s clear Kiffin and his staff are making the trenches a priority-not just with high school talent, but with plug-and-play options from the JUCO ranks and the portal. It’s a smart approach for a program looking to reload quickly and compete in the always-brutal SEC West.
As for the rest of LSU’s 2026 recruiting class, the Tigers signed 15 high school players during the early signing period in December. That group is currently ranked No. 11 nationally by 247Sports. Now, with Lamb, Jones, and three-star safety Jackson Williams from Shaw High in the New Orleans area expected to sign this week, LSU is poised to round out a well-balanced class with a strong finish.
In short, the Tigers aren’t just building-they’re building big.
