A German traveler who became a viral figure during his summer trip through the United States is headed back to Baton Rouge, and this time he’s making his way to Tiger Stadium for LSU’s showdown with Texas A&M.
Freddy, who posts on X as @FreddyLA7, said Wednesday night that he was on his way to Louisiana for Saturday’s game.
“As most people have probably figured out by now, we’re on our way to Baton Rouge to watch LSU vs Texas A&M on Saturday,” Freddy wrote.
He said the stop at Tiger Stadium had been on the list ever since locals in Louisiana talked up the atmosphere during his World Cup trip.
“We visited that place during our World Cup trip and locals told us how crazy it gets, so seeing a game there was one of the main things we wanted to do on this trip,” he wrote.
Freddy already made a splash in Baton Rouge earlier this summer. During a June visit, he toured LSU’s campus, stopped by Mike the Tiger and posted photos outside Tiger Stadium. At the time, he took in the size of the building and put it plainly: “102k capacity, biggest stadium I’ve ever been to,” Freddy wrote.
He also tried Raising Cane’s for the first time and followed that up with a simple verdict: “Lives were changed.”
Now he’ll see Tiger Stadium in full Saturday-night mode.

The game will air nationally on ABC, and LSU is encouraging fans to wear gold.
LSU enters at 2-1 after last weekend’s 32-24 loss at Ole Miss. The Tigers have also won 25 of their last 27 night games in Tiger Stadium.
Freddy has already logged another college football stop on this trip to the U.S. On Sept. 19, he was at Auburn’s game against Florida at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Alabama, where he shared multiple videos with followers and wrote, “It’s like in the movies,”.
