Nussmeier, who took home the Senior Bowl MVP honors, has another opportunity to catch the eyes of NFL teams with his interviews and testing at the combine. However, his journey to the draft has been anything but straightforward. So, where might Nussmeier end up in the draft? NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah sees him as a third-round talent, though he acknowledges the unpredictable nature of the draft. “I feel like that’s the sweet spot for him,” Jeremiah noted, adding that Nussmeier's skill set could even see him sneak into the second round.
Jeremiah, drawing from his experience as a former scout, highlighted Nussmeier’s ability to perform from the pocket despite his 6-foot-1 stature. He praised Nussmeier’s arm strength and resilience, noting, “He doesn’t need a lot of foot space to operate.”
