Kentucky’s latest move in the 2028 race only adds to the growing pile of heavyweight attention around Colton Hiller.
The No. 2 player in the class picked up an offer from the Wildcats this week after a strong showing at Peach Jam, where the PSA Cardinals forward kept flashing the kind of all-around game that has made him one of the most sought-after young prospects in the country.
“He just got an offer from Kentucky, everyone is really reaching out to him now,” said PSA Cardinals 17U coach Donovan Williams.”
Colton is still having fun with the game ans working on his craft and getting better. The greatest thing of it all is he’s really having fun with the process of getting better. He has a natural talent.”
Hiller’s offer list already reads like a national recruiting map. Duke, Alabama, Florida State, BYU, North Carolina, Kansas, UCONN, Louisville, Oregon, Maryland and others have all extended offers.
What stood out at Peach Jam was how much more complete his offensive package looked compared with a year ago. Against Team Herro, Hiller showed he could stretch the floor with deep shooting, knock down tough contested shots while off balance, and finish through contact on the move.
At 6-foot-6 and 215 pounds, he has grown into a vertically explosive finisher while also becoming a real floor-spacing threat. He averaged 17.6 points during the EYBL season.
Kentucky has already made multiple trips to see Hiller, who plays at Coatesville (Pa.) HS this AAU season. Mark Pope and staff watched him during EYBL Session I.
