Louisville is set to get another look from four-star power forward Aaron Webb, and this time it will be an official visit.
Webb, a 6-foot-8, 200-pound prospect from Indiana Area (Ind.), has already been on campus once for a game. He told CardinalAuthority that the Cardinals are still in the mix as his recruitment picks up, with head coach Pat Kelsey and assistant Ronnie Hamilton staying in contact.
" We've just been in touch every once in a while. We're talking, and they're asking me about what I have coming up," Webb said. "I'm coming up for an official visit."
The Louisville interest has come in waves. Webb said there was a stretch when the Cardinals were texting him "every day at one point."
"They're really nice. They're always reaching out to me," Webb said. "I wouldn't say [they're making me a priority] now, but they were."
On his earlier trip, Webb got a close look at Louisville’s practice facility and much of the athletic complex. The impression stuck.
"It's huge. It was really nice.
It's of good quality," Webb said. "I feel like I could fit into [Louisville's system].
They have to tell me what to do, and I'll do it."
For now, Webb is still in the middle of the recruiting grind, and he says it’s been nonstop.
"It's been every day, though, so it's a lot," Webb said.
Louisville isn’t the only program staying active. Webb said he’s also hearing regularly from Liberty and James Madison. He has not scheduled or taken any official visits yet, though that should change soon.
When it comes to what he wants, Webb kept it simple.
"[I'm looking for] a good education, a good community, and that's about it," he said.
He still doesn’t have a commitment timeline.
247Sports lists Webb as the No. 20 power forward and No. 135 overall player in the 2027 class. The 247Sports Composite has him at No. 18 among power forwards and No. 122 overall.

Tai Bells recruitment is already starting to look like the kind Louisville fans know well: early, wide-ranging and built around a player who seems to understand what the Cardinals want to be. The highly regarded point guard in the 2028 class has been in touch with assistant coach Ronnie Hamilton since the contact period opened, and he has made it clear Louisville is a program he can see himself fitting into.
Bell has also drawn attention from a long list of other major programs, which is no surprise for a guard with his profile and national appeal. Still, Louisville has positioned itself well by getting in early and making the case that its system suits his game, and the next step will be getting him on campus once the live period wraps up.
