The Tennessee Titans are still searching for their first win of 2026, and Sunday’s 24-18 loss to the Baltimore Ravens left plenty of frustration behind. Tennessee walked out of the road game at 0-4, with all three of its most recent defeats coming by one score.
What made this one sting is that Baltimore lost Lamar Jackson to an ankle injury after halftime, yet the Titans still couldn’t climb all the way out of the 24-7 hole they dug before the break. Tennessee shut out the Ravens in the second half, but the early damage was enough to decide it.
Robert Saleh didn’t try to dress it up after the game. Asked about the way the Titans fell short, he called the afternoon frustrating and eventually described it as a strange one.
"It was frustrating overall from a viewing standpoint," Saleh said. "Offense came out with a lot of juice.
It was a goofy game. It didn't feel like 24-7 at halftime.
But I do appreciate the fact that everyone came out and fought. But overall disappointing."
The biggest self-inflicted wound came in the red zone, where Tennessee kept leaning on the run and came away empty. The Titans ran the ball seven straight times inside the red zone in the second quarter, then got stopped on fourth-and-goal and left without points. Saleh backed offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and said the staff was doing what it believed gave the team its best shot.
"Felt like we were running the ball pretty well," Saleh said. "That's something I'll defintely have a conversation with Daboll about.
In those situations, the guys work their tails off to call the best plays in that situation based on what we've seen on tape. I'm pleased with the preparation that goes into it.
We'll figure out what we have to do better."
That approach has been a problem all season for Tennessee, which has leaned conservative on offense and left too much on the table. The result, at least so far, has been an attack that looks limited in the moments that matter most.
Even in a loss like this, there was a bright spot. Rookie receiver Carnell Tate delivered his best showing yet, catching nine passes for 145 yards despite also losing a fumble. The Ohio State product looked every bit like the kind of playmaker Tennessee hoped it was getting when it took him with the No. 4 overall pick in April.
Saleh had plenty of praise for the young receiver and said Tate’s trajectory is headed in the right direction.
"He's a young kid and he's going to get better. He's going to get more consistent. He's going to be a good player for a while."
Tate has been building momentum over the last two weeks and has started to emerge as Tennessee’s top target. For a team still waiting to break through, that growth at least gives the Titans something to point to as they head home next week to face the winless Houston Texans at Nissan Stadium. One AFC South team will get its first win of the year, and Tennessee will hope it’s them.

Rams Suddenly Have A Roster Decision They Didnt Expect Up Front
The Rams are heading into a familiar kind of roster conversation, only this one was not supposed to arrive this early. Justin Dedich and Keagen Trost are both eligible to come off injured reserve after missing the start of the season, and their status now gives Los Angeles a little more to weigh up front as the line has held together reasonably well through the first four games.
Sean McVay has made clear how useful both linemen can be as depth pieces, but any move to bring one back would come with a cost elsewhere on the roster. With the line relatively stable for now, the Rams are in the rare position of deciding whether to add help before they truly need it, and that kind of choice can shape the depth chart in a hurry. Aaron Donald's Rams Injury Setup Protected More Than His Back
Aaron Donalds back kept him out of the Rams Week 4 game, but the way Los Angeles handled his status did more than preserve a roster spot. By leaving him on the 53-man active roster instead of moving him to injured reserve, the team ensured he remained eligible for his weekly roster bonus, since his contract pays him for being on the active roster rather than simply dressing on game day.
Donald has appeared in two games this season while working his way back and producing only limited statistics, a reminder that the Rams are managing both his health and his place on the roster with care. For a player of his importance, every administrative detail matters almost as much as the injury report, and this setup gave the club a way to protect both its star and the money attached to him while he recovered. Eagles Rainy Loss Sparked A Viral Moment Fans Didn't See
Rain turned the Rams-Eagles matchup into the kind of messy NFL Sunday that tests everyone involved, not just the players. Erin Andrews gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at what covering a game looks like when the weather gets ugly, posting photos and video on Instagram that showed the preparation and the headaches that come with doing television work in the rain.
For the Rams, the conditions only added to a comeback win that stood out for more than the scoreboard. Kyren Williams was a big part of the rally and later spoke with Andrews afterward, praising his team in an interview that fit the mood of a victory earned the hard way, on a night when even the broadcast booth had to fight through the elements.
