Puka Nacua’s latest Instagram recap had plenty going on, but one comment from Suni Lee stole the spotlight.
The Los Angeles Rams wide receiver posted a batch of photos on Saturday, with the clearest eye-catcher being a shot of him in his Rams uniform. He kept the caption simple: “Spread love," he wrote in the caption.
Lee jumped into the comments with a playful “My Shayla."
Nacua answered back with a beaming face with smiling eyes emoji.
His photo dump also showed him mixing it up with some major names across sports and business. One image featured Nacua sharing a warm handshake with LeBron James, while Draymond Green was visible in the background.
Another showed him alongside Todd Graves, the founder of Raising Cane’s, at a brand event. A third had him posing with New York Jets running back Breece Hall.
The back-and-forth with Lee wasn’t their first. The last time the two traded comments on Instagram came in March, when Lee posted a Paris Fashion Week 2026 photo dump that included a cream corset top and animal-print trousers.
She captioned it, “I <3 being a girl! 🌼”
Nacua’s response then was: “Off white Suni," Nacua teased.
Off the field, Nacua is in the final year of his four-year rookie contract with the Rams. Since he was taken in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, his deal does not include a fifth-year team option, which makes him eligible for unrestricted free agency after the 2026 season.
Nacua has also been dealing with public allegations from his ex-girlfriend, Hallie Aiono, who said he cheated on her multiple times during their relationship and said she never cheated on him.
In a TikTok video posted on July 16, Aiono spoke emotionally about her pregnancy and the difficult stretch she went through after the relationship ended.
"I wasn't receiving the financial, emotional, physical support that I needed," she said. "I was blocked by the father of my child. I was focused on protecting myself and my son, and figuring out how we were going to be okay."
She later addressed rumors about who fathered her son.
"Yes, cheating happened multiple times in my past relationship, but never once by me," she said. "So I never questioned who the father of my son was. Nobody in my personal life questioned who the father was."
Aiono also said she had repeatedly asked for the rumors to stop and wanted someone to stand up for her.
"I always hoped, and even asked multiple times, for that narrative to be shut down, and for me to be defended," she said. "But here we are, and that narrative was spread so fast, faster than the truth could ever."
Nacua has not publicly responded to Aiono’s latest allegations.
Kingston, the son of Puka Nacua and Hallie Aiono, was born on Oct. 30.
