The Rams’ deadline plans may come down to the final minutes, if Les Snead’s history is any guide.
With the NFL trade deadline set for Tuesday, November 10, at 1:00 pm PT, there’s plenty of curiosity around what Los Angeles might do. But the truth is simple: nobody really knows. Snead has never been the type to move just to make noise, and he’s not going to swing a deal unless he sees a clear purpose behind it.
That’s the part fans can hang onto. When Snead has made deadline moves, he’s usually waited until the clock was running down. More than half of his trade-deadline deals have come at the last moment, which leaves the door open for a late Rams move if he decides one is coming at all.
Still, this isn’t a roster screaming for a dramatic overhaul. The Rams’ issues are more about execution than a glaring shortage of talent.
That makes them a tricky team to upgrade through one trade. A new player isn’t going to erase Matthew Stafford’s recent interception spike, and it’s hard to expect one addition to clean up problems that show up in the details.
There is precedent for Snead hitting the right note when the need is obvious. In 2021, the Rams needed help with the pass rush and more support at receiver, and the moves for Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr. fit perfectly. Those additions helped push the team to a Super Bowl LVI title.
This time, though, the picture is murkier. Beyond receiver depth and special teams, there isn’t a single obvious hole demanding a fix.
The Rams are dealing with injuries, uncertainty, and the usual trade-off between spending draft capital now or holding it for later. That may be enough to keep Snead patient.
If he does act, though, history says it may not happen until the very end.

Kelly Stafford Rips NFL Over Rams Schedule Before Holiday Spotlight
Kelly Stafford is back in the middle of the Rams schedule conversation, and this time her frustration is aimed squarely at the leagues timing. On her Instagram story, she took issue with the way Los Angeles bye week is lined up in the 2026 NFL season, arguing the team is being asked to turn around far quicker than some of its peers.
The complaint centers on a Thanksgiving Eve game that comes only 9 to 10 days after the break, a setup that leaves the Rams with less recovery time right before one of the leagues biggest holiday stages. It is the second recent public criticism she has made about NFL scheduling, and it adds another layer to a calendar quirk that has already drawn attention around the team. [Read more 🡒]
Rams May Finally Need Rookie CJ Daniels In A Bigger Role
The Rams have been leaning on experience for much of the season, but the rookie class is starting to creep into the conversation as the offense searches for answers. Tight end Max Klare has already earned a larger look in recent weeks, and now wide receiver CJ Daniels appears to be next in line for a possible bump in usage as Los Angeles continues sorting through its passing-game depth.
Sean McVay said Daniels may get more opportunities moving forward, a notable shift for a player who has been used sparingly so far. With the Rams still evaluating how to piece together the receiver rotation, Daniels suddenly looks like one of the younger names worth watching if the team decides it needs a different look in the weeks ahead. Kelly Stafford Rips NFL Over Rams Schedule Frustration
Kelly Stafford is back in the middle of a league gripe, this time taking aim at the Rams 2026 bye-week setup on her Instagram story. Her complaint centered on the way the schedule leaves Los Angeles with a shorter reset than some other teams, all while the Rams are slated to return for the NFLs first Thanksgiving Eve game.
The frustration fits a recent pattern, since this is the second time in short order she has publicly gone after the league. For a Rams team that already has enough to manage across a long season, the schedule issue adds another small but noticeable layer of annoyance, especially when the timing around a bye is supposed to offer relief rather than more disruption.
