Davante Adams Stuns Fans with Preferred AFC Team and Player Choice

Star receiver Davante Adams hints at surprising future ambitions, eyeing a potential play with Bengals QB Joe Burrow despite his current Rams contract.

Los Angeles Rams standout wide receiver Davante Adams has stirred the pot with recent comments suggesting a possible interest in joining the AFC. While the Rams have reportedly considered a trade involving Adams, potentially eyeing Philadelphia Eagles star AJ Brown, the team isn’t actively shopping him, especially after paying his roster bonus. Yet, Adams’ own words hint at a desire for new opportunities.

At a recent Fanatics Flag Football event, participants played a game called “Pass the Phone.” When it was Adams’ turn, he passed the phone saying, “I’m passing the phone to somebody who I wish I had the chance to play with,” before the video cut to Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. This playful moment has sparked plenty of speculation.

Adams is set to team up with Burrow at the event, alongside retired legends Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. If Adams were to become available, the Bengals would likely be very interested. Pairing him with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins could transform Cincinnati’s offense into an even more formidable force.

Despite missing three games last season, Adams still posted impressive numbers, with 60 receptions for 789 yards and 14 touchdowns. Adding him as a third option in Cincinnati would create serious matchup problems for any defense. However, for the Rams to consider trading Adams, they would need to secure another impactful receiver, possibly through the draft.
