Brenda Song did not hide how much she’s looking forward to seeing Myles Garrett in a Rams uniform this season.
While in the booth during the Rams broadcast, the actress was asked which player she was most eager to watch, and she kept her answer focused on the blockbuster addition the team made over the offseason.
“I mean, obviously, the fact that we have the reigning defensive player of the year playing with the MVP, it's so exciting, and Myles Garrett is just incredible. It is really, I feel so lucky that we get to see him in this stadium, and also I'm just excited. I miss football so much, guys.”
Garrett arrived in Los Angeles in a trade that also sent former Rams defensive standout Jared Verse away as part of the deal. The move brought in the reigning NFL defensive player of the year to pair with reigning MVP Matthew Stafford, giving the Rams a headline-grabbing piece on defense.
Garrett earned those honors with a huge 2025 season. He piled up 60 tackles, including 43 solo stops, along with 23 sacks, three forced fumbles and one pass deflection.

The Rams were already close to reaching their second Super Bowl in the past few seasons and their third in the past ten years before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, 31-27. With Garrett now in the mix, they’ll be trying to push back into the NFC conversation again, this time with a major new force on their defensive front.
Garrett is set to make his debut on Thursday, September 10th against the San Francisco 49ers.
