Bills Win Over Rams Ended With An Ugly Scene Fans Wont Ignore

In a postgame incident overshadowing a thrilling overtime showdown, Rams' Alaric Jackson's actions against Bradley Chubb highlight ongoing conduct concerns.

The fireworks after Bills-Rams didn’t stop when the final whistle blew.

Buffalo walked out of Monday Night Football with a 37-34 overtime win, sealed by Tyler Bass’ game-winning field goal. But the night turned ugly once the teams met at midfield, where ESPN captured a postgame scuffle involving Rams lineman Alaric Jackson and Bills pass rusher Bradley Chubb.

As players swapped jerseys and shook hands, Chubb could be seen pointing toward Jackson from midfield while Jackson was finishing a jersey exchange with Deone Walker near the 40-yard line. Jackson then moved toward Chubb in a confrontational manner, got in his face, and threw a right-handed punch that knocked Chubb’s hat off.

Chaos followed immediately. Rams tight end Colby Parkinson was first in to try to cool things down, with Shaun Dolac also stepping in. Walker helped pull Jackson away while Greg Rousseau rushed over to shield Chubb after watching the exchange unfold just a few feet away.

Chubb, visibly angry, was then held back by Walker as he tried to get back toward Jackson.

Jackson, a 28-year-old Canadian offensive lineman, is in his sixth season with the Rams and won a Super Bowl with the team in 2021. He signed a three-year, $57 million extension in 2025, but his offseason was clouded by legal troubles.

Jackson had been accused in June of attacking his pregnant girlfriend and was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery on June 8. Police responded to his San Fernando Valley home after an alleged dispute with the 38-year-old woman, who said she was left with “scratches and bruises.”

Prosecutors later said in July that they would not file charges against Jackson “at this time.” Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office spokesperson Ivor Pine confirmed the decision, saying: “This matter has been assigned for a City Attorney Hearing, a pre-filing diversion available to eligible individuals that is an alternative to misdemeanor criminal prosecution.

'Charges are not filed against the respondent at this time, however, the case stays open throughout the length of the statute of limitations. It can be re-evaluated if there are further developments.”

Jackson also served a two-game suspension in 2024 under the NFL’s personal conduct policy for an undisclosed violation, later tied to a civil lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by a woman who said he recorded her without consent during sex and refused to delete the video.

The plaintiff said the alleged incident happened in May 2024 and reported it to the NFL. That lawsuit was later dismissed in April 2026 after being moved to federal court.

Peyton Manning Just Spotted A Simple Fix For The Rams Offense

For much of Sunday at SoFi Stadium, the Rams were getting a quarterback showcase the league circles back to anytime Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen share a field. The Bills brought the physical challenge, the Rams answered with a slim lead into the third quarter, and Stafford kept the offense moving with a steady mix of completions and enough balance to stay ahead in a tight game.

Peyton Manning, working the Manningcast with Eli, saw the Rams through the lens of a veteran passer and pointed to a simple fix: keep the passing game cleaner and less complicated. It was the kind of observation that lands because Los Angeles has enough talent to threaten defenses, but also enough moving parts that a little trimming can go a long way, especially in a game where every drive feels like it matters. Rams Just Made A Kicker Move They Couldnt Put Off

The Rams moved quickly after their overtime loss, turning to special teams with a personnel change they could not really wait on. Los Angeles released kicker Harrison Mevis and brought in Blake Grupe from the New York Jets practice squad, a swap that reflects just how much the kicking game has been hanging over this team in a tight season.

Mevis had struggled with field goal accuracy this year, and his blocked kick in the loss only sharpened the scrutiny. Grupe arrives with previous NFL experience, and the Rams are hoping the change can stabilize a part of the roster that has become too costly to ignore. [Read more 🡒]

Bills Fans Are Suddenly Watching One Postgame Incident Very Closely

What happened after the Monday night game between the Rams and Bills has already become a bigger talking point than the final whistle itself. Following an exchange between the two sides, Rams lineman Alaric Jackson punched Bills edge rusher Bradley Chubb, turning a tense postgame moment into something the league is now expected to review.

For Buffalo, the incident matters because it could bring a suspension for Jackson and some added uncertainty in the days ahead. Chubb described the moment as emotional and said he was ready to move on to the next game, but the NFL may address the matter soon, which would give the story another layer beyond the on-field result.
