A Thursday night opener in Australia gives the 49ers and Rams a stage big enough for the kind of star power this matchup brings. With the total sitting at 48.5, the scoreboard could get busy fast, and the touchdown market is loaded with options.
For San Francisco, Christian McCaffrey remains the safest place to start. He finished last season with 10 rushing touchdowns and seven receiving touchdowns in 17 regular-season games, and he found the end zone in 12 of those matchups.
That kind of consistency is why he’s sitting at -150 here, even if the price isn’t exactly friendly. He did manage only one touchdown in two games against the Rams in 2025, but the workload was still heavy: 16 catches and 34 carries across those meetings.

Against the 49ers, he scored once in two meetings, and he only went five regular-season games in 2025 without finding the end zone. The fit in this offense is clear, especially with Puka Nacua drawing plenty of defensive attention.
Adams was targeted 31 times in the red zone last season, third-most in the NFL, and turned 13 catches into 12 touchdowns.
If you want a longer shot with some real appeal, Colby Parkinson is worth a look at +425. The Rams leaned heavily on three-tight-end packages in 2025, and Parkinson turned that usage into a strong red-zone role.
He scored eight touchdowns in 15 games last season, including one against San Francisco in their second meeting. Stafford looked his way 20 times in the red zone, ninth-most in the league, and Parkinson caught 14 of those targets with six going for scores.
From Week 9 on, he played at least 56 percent of the offensive snaps every week, including multiple games above 80 percent.
