The Lakers are giving fans plenty to circle on the 2026-27 promotional calendar, and the first big item belongs to Luka Doncic.
Los Angeles will hand out Doncic bobbleheads on Nov. 1 when the Lakers host the Toronto Raptors at Crypto.com Arena, recognizing his NBA scoring title from last season. It was the second time in his career he finished as the league’s scoring champion. Doncic led the NBA with 33.5 points per game, just behind his career-best 33.9 mark from 2023-24.
His teammates already got a look at the giveaway, and the reactions came from all corners of the locker room. Lakers newcomers Sandro Mamukelashvili and Jaden Hardy were among the first to see it, with Hardy flashing a big smile since he felt they nailed one of Doncic’s signature shots. Dalton Knecht, Walker Kessler and Austin Reaves also offered their thoughts in the team’s promotional video, and Doncic himself showed up near the end to weigh in.
Reaves is the next current Lakers player in line for his own bobblehead night. That one is set for Dec. 27 against the Memphis Grizzlies, making him and Doncic the only active players getting the bobblehead treatment.
The schedule also includes a run of former Lakers getting honored. Norm Nixon’s bobblehead night comes first on Dec. 14, when the Lakers host the New Orleans Pelicans. Paul Westhead follows on Jan. 14 against the Orlando Magic, and Kurt Rambis is next on March 17 when Los Angeles faces the Phoenix Suns.
The final bobblehead night of the season is set for April 9, the second-to-last game of the year, when the Lakers host Anthony Edwards’ Minnesota Timberwolves. That night will also feature the unveiling of Phil Jackson’s statue in Star Plaza, along with his bobblehead for fans.
Other giveaways on the schedule include a Lakers x Dodgers baseball-style jersey on Nov. 18 against the Utah Jazz, a 2020 championship ring replica on Jan. 24 when Anthony Davis returns with the Washington Wizards, and the Lakers’ first-ever Hello Kitty night on March 7 against the Brooklyn Nets.
