Lakers' Luke Kennard Stuns Magic with Clutch Game-Winning 3-Pointer

Lakers' sharpshooter Luke Kennard reveals the strategic execution behind his game-winning 3-pointer that sealed a thrilling victory over the Magic and extended the team's winning streak.

Luka Kennard was the hero of the night, sinking a game-winning 3-pointer to lift the Los Angeles Lakers to a nail-biting 105-104 victory over the Orlando Magic. This thrilling finish kept the Lakers' impressive win streak alive and showcased Kennard's knack for clutch performances.

In his ninth NBA season and first with the Lakers, Kennard has been a reliable force off the bench. His sharpshooting skills were on full display against Orlando, delivering when it mattered most. After the game, Kennard shared his thoughts on that pivotal moment.

“First off, great execution by us. The play before we thought we got fouled, whatever came back over here, we executed a play, tried to get LeBron at the rim.

Two guys went. Smart made a good play, and I was able to knock it down,” Kennard recounted.

Kennard's ability to perform under pressure was crucial in securing the road victory for the Lakers. He wasn't the only one contributing, though.

Four Lakers scored in double figures, with Kennard posting 13 points and three rebounds on an efficient 5-7 shooting night. Luka Doncic led the charge with 33 points, eight assists, and five rebounds.

Austin Reaves added 26 points and seven rebounds, while LeBron James chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.

With this win, Los Angeles improved to a 46-25 record, holding firm in the third spot in the Western Conference standings, ahead of the Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets. Riding a nine-game winning streak, the Lakers are set to face the Detroit Pistons next on March 23 at 7 p.m. ET, eager to keep their momentum rolling.
