Freddie Freeman of the Los Angeles Dodgers and his wife, Chelsea, are stepping up to the plate for a new adventure. After welcoming three boys, the Freemans are excited to announce they’re expecting a girl.
Chelsea shared the joyful news on Instagram, capturing the moment with a creative gender reveal. Their sons each took a swing at baseballs that burst into pink smoke and confetti-a fitting celebration for a baseball family.
But the Freemans aren’t the only ones expanding their roster. The Dodgers are experiencing a baby boom this spring. Max Muncy and his wife, Kellie, welcomed a baby girl in January, proudly sharing photos of their little one in Dodger blue.
Fan favorite Kiké Hernández and his wife, Mariana, added a new member to their lineup with the birth of their son, Santiago José, in February. Meanwhile, offseason addition Kyle Tucker and his wife, Samantha, celebrated the arrival of their first child, a boy.
Even former Dodger Clayton Kershaw is in on the action, having welcomed a baby girl last year, bringing their family count to five.
Kyle Tucker shared with Kirsten Watson of SportsNet LA how this influx of young ones has created a lively atmosphere at the Dodgers' facilities. “We’ve got a lot of little ones running around the clubhouse,” Tucker said.
“It’s fun to see and share this experience with everyone, and have them come out to BP and the clubhouse. It’s really cool to see all of that.
It’s a lot of fun.”
The Dodgers’ clubhouse is buzzing with family spirit, making it a special time for players and fans alike.
