Dodgers Unveil First Tower Buzzers Roster With Surprises

Dodgers unveil the Ontario Tower Buzzers' inaugural roster, featuring rising stars and fresh talent set to make waves in 2026.

The Dodgers are ushering in a new era with their Class-A affiliate in the California League, the Ontario Tower Buzzers. After a 15-year partnership with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, 2026 marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for the Dodgers’ farm system.

Leading the charge is shortstop Emil Morales, a name that’s been lighting up top-100 prospect lists across Baseball Prospectus, FanGraphs, ESPN, The Athletic, and MLB Pipeline. This 19-year-old phenom was a standout during the Dodgers’ international signing period in 2024 and clinched the Dominican Summer League MVP that same year.

Last season, Morales dazzled in Class-A with a .339/.420/.548 slash line, boasting a 160 wRC+, 11 doubles, and five home runs in just 30 games with the Quakes. If his trajectory mirrors that of outfielder Eduardo Quintero, Morales might not be in Ontario for long.

Morales is joined by 12 other players from last year’s Quakes roster, including infielders Joendry Vargas and Chase Harlan, and pitcher Marlon Nieves. The Ontario lineup also features nine fresh faces from the Dodgers’ 2025 draft class.

Notably, second-round pick Cam Leiter and third-round pick Landyn Vidourek are set to make an impact. Vidourek had a brief stint with the Quakes last season, while Leiter is gearing up for his professional debut, part of a group of nine debutants on the Buzzers’ roster this year.

The Buzzers are set to kick off their inaugural game at the brand-new ONT Field this Thursday, April 2, against the Lake Elsinore Storm, the Padres’ affiliate. It’s a fresh start with a roster brimming with potential, and Ontario fans have every reason to be excited.
