The Los Angeles Dodgers will add a different kind of summer attraction to Dodger Stadium in 2027, when the Savannah Bananas bring Banana Ball to Los Angeles as part of the 2027 Banana Ball World Tour.
The matchup is set to land at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium during a stretch when the Dodgers are on the road in the nation’s capital the weekend of April 23-24, 2027. That opening in the calendar gave the organization a chance to bring in one of the sport’s biggest live-show acts.
“The Savannah Bananas have built an incredible connection with fans by turning every game into a one-of-a-kind experience,” executive director of Dodgers 365 Chris Koenig said in a statement.
“We’re beyond thrilled to welcome Banana Ball to UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium this spring to share that unique blend of baseball, entertainment and world-class showmanship with our fans.”
Banana Ball has made a habit of packing stadiums around the country, with sellouts at Angel Stadium, Truist Park, Petco Park, and Raymond James Stadium. The tour is also set to go international next year, with trips scheduled to Mexico and Canada.
Fans attending the event can expect the full Bananas production: trick plays, constant entertainment, a quicker pace and plenty of surprises along the way. The Dodgers said they’re excited to give their fans a shot at the experience.
Ticket access is being handled through a lottery list at bananaball.com/tickets, and the sign-up window closes on Oct. 31, 2026, at 8:59 p.m. PT.
Being on the list does not guarantee tickets. A random drawing will be held before the event, and those chosen will be contacted with the next steps for buying available seats.
More information, including game times, will be announced later.
Banana Ball was created in 2016 by Jesse Cole and was built around one simple idea: put the fan experience first. The Bananas helped launch the sport, which blends competitive baseball with entertainment and showmanship.
The format has grown quickly since the addition of a second team in 2020 and a third in 2023. The Banana Ball Championship League now includes six teams: the Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, Loco Beach Coconuts and Indianapolis Clowns.
The league is also now on ESPN, ABC, truTV, and CW Sports in the United States, with streaming on YouTube.

Dodgers Could Be Lurking For Baseballs Next Huge Trade Prize
Junior Caminero has spent the season looking every bit like the kind of young power bat that changes a lineup, and the 23-year-old Rays third baseman has only raised his profile with a strong showing in the 2026 World Series after launching 42 home runs in the regular season. For a Tampa Bay club that has long had to weigh talent against payroll reality, that kind of production puts Caminero squarely in the center of a future decision the Rays may not want to face.
Jorge Castillo reported that Caminero is aiming for a record-setting contract in the neighborhood of the deals signed by Juan Soto or Vladimir Guerrero Jr., a price tag Tampa Bay may not be able to match. If that path eventually opens the door to a trade, the Dodgers would make plenty of sense as a contender with the financial muscle, a deep farm system and the roster flexibility to chase another star-caliber addition. Dodgers Face One Crucial Free Agency Call After Costly Misses
Tarik Skubal, a two-time Cy Young winner set to hit free agency, still sees the Dodgers as a franchise built to stay at the top even after their sweep in the National League Championship Series. That kind of external belief matters for a team that just watched its season end earlier than expected, especially with the front office already weighing how to retool around a roster that came up short when it counted most.
Brandon Gomes has already acknowledged the uneven regular-season returns from Kyle Tucker and Edwin Diaz, even as both players made meaningful postseason contributions, which only adds to the sense that Los Angeles has decisions to sort through on the margins as much as the stars. One of those calls centers on left-handed reliever Alex Vesia, who is also headed for free agency and could draw interest elsewhere even if the Dodgers try to keep him on a team-friendly deal. Dodgers Trade Idea Would Spark A Huge Shortstop Debate
A speculative trade proposal has put the Dodgers back into familiar territory: chasing upside, youth and long-term fit even while trying to win right now. Bleacher Reports Zachary D. Rymer floated the idea of Los Angeles pursuing Angels shortstop Zach Neto, a move that would bring an athletic, younger infielder across town and immediately inject more energy into the roster conversation.
The suggested return would be a hefty one, with Justin Wrobleski, Roki Sasaki and Daulton Rushing all heading the other way in the scenario. It is only an idea, not anything close to a confirmed deal, but it does tap into a debate Dodgers fans know well: whether the club should keep leaning on its current in-house options or make a bold move for a shortstop who could change the shape of the lineup for years.
