Major League Baseball has put eight Dodgers on the ballot for the 2026 All-MLB Team, giving Los Angeles a heavy presence in a process that honors the best regular-season performers across the sport.
The Dodgers’ group of nominees includes Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Max Muncy, Andy Pages, Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tarik Skubal and Tanner Scott. MLB announced the ballot as the league began setting up the annual awards cycle, with the All-MLB Team set to be revealed on Nov. 11 during the fourth annual MLB Awards at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
That live show on MLB Network will also include several other honors, among them the Hank Aaron Award winners, Comeback Players of the Year, Mariano Rivera and Trevor Hoffman Relievers of the Year, Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter of the Year and MLB Executive of the Year.
MLB Network will spotlight the nominees position by position on the 2026 All-MLB Team Nominee Show on Monday, Sept. 28, at 4:00 p.m. PT, with Adnan Virk, Jake Peavy and Steve Phillips breaking down the field. The network will then air the 2026 MiLB Awards Show at 5:00 p.m.
This year’s nominee pool is packed with familiar names. MLB said the ballot features 91 All-Stars, including 62 players who appeared on 2026 All-Star rosters, along with 15 rookies.
It also includes 65 players age 27-or-younger, 49 age 26-or-younger, 33 age 25-or-younger, 20 age 24-or-younger and 10 age 23-or-younger. There are also 45 internationally born players from nine countries and territories outside the 50 United States, seven Most Valuable Player Award winners, five Cy Young Award winners, 13 Rookie of the Year Award winners, two Reliever of the Year Award winners, five batting champions and 44 previous All-MLB Team honorees.
Among those returnees are 17 members of the 2025 All-MLB Team, including nine first-team selections and eight second-team selections. There are also 13 two-time honorees, five three-time honorees and five five-time honorees.
Three Dodgers - Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Shohei Ohtani - are part of a small group of players who have already been honored as a first-team or second-team selection in five seasons. They are joined in that category by Houston’s Yordan Alvarez and New York Mets outfielder Juan Soto.
Ohtani’s resume on this ballot stands out even more. He has won a total of eight awards in his five winning seasons and has been selected to either team in each of his last five seasons. His All-MLB track record includes first-team honors as a designated hitter and second-team honors as a starting pitcher in 2021; first-team honors as a starting pitcher and second-team honors as a designated hitter in 2022; first-team honors in both categories in 2023; and first-team honors as a designated hitter in 2024 and 2025.
Six players are trying to make it three straight All-MLB selections: Ketel Marte of the Arizona Diamondbacks; Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates; Tarik Skubal of the Dodgers; Soto; Zack Wheeler of the Philadelphia Phillies; and Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals.
The 2026 ballot also includes all nine of the first-team honorees from 2025: Marte, Ohtani, Skenes, Skubal, Soto and Witt, along with Aroldis Chapman of the Boston Red Sox; Jhoan Duran of the Philadelphia Phillies; and Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Dodgers.
Fans can vote starting Monday, Sept. 28, and continuing through Friday, Oct. 9 at 11:00 a.m. PR at mlb.com/allmlb, with a Spanish-language ballot available at mlb.com/todomlb. Fan voting and a panel of media members, broadcasters, former players and other officials will carry equal weight in deciding the first-team and second-team selections.
The ballot covers catcher, first base, second base, third base, shortstop, three outfield spots without regard for left, center or right, designated hitter, five starting pitchers and two relief pitchers on both the first and second teams. All of it is based solely on the 2026 regular season, with no distinction between the American League and National League.
