Madison Beer was back at the Chargers’ facility on Tuesday, and this time the scene on the field pulled in another star couple.
During the Chargers’ joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers, Beer and her fiancé Justin Herbert crossed paths with Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo. NFL analyst David Lombardi shared the interaction on X, showing the two couples chatting and laughing together.
Culpo stood out in a black maternity jumpsuit that highlighted her baby belly, while McCaffrey wore a white full-sleeve T-shirt, black shorts and white shoes. Beer, positioned beside the running back in the video, wore a white dress and carried a brown shoulder bag.
Beer’s presence at Chargers training camp has drawn plenty of attention, and not all of it has been positive. NFL fans have been frustrated with the wider trend of partners showing up around camp, especially in connection with Beer, Marissa Ayers and Olivia Ponton.
“It's like, why are the girlfriends there? It's to bring the families together.
Just kind of gives everyone a chance to meet and hang out and bond and just be a part of it. Where the kids can go, they see their dads.
It's so cute.”
Nick Wright also took aim at Beer’s visits to Chargers training camp, criticizing the optics around her and Herbert and drawing a comparison to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
“What is this? I understand everyone wants to be Travis and Taylor," he said.
"I get it, I don’t blame you. They never did this at the practice field.
What is happening here? You can’t have more videos of your girlfriend fixing your hair than playoff wins when you’ve been in the league for seven years.”
A day before showing up alongside McCaffrey and Culpo, Beer had also reacted warmly to Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber’s intimate moments from a Dodgers game.

Keenan Allen Just Closed The Book On His Chargers Career
Keenan Allen is moving on again, this time to Indianapolis, where the Colts are bringing in a veteran receiver to steady a passing game that has been thinned by injuries and roster turnover. For Chargers fans, it lands as another reminder of how much of the franchises recent identity was tied to Allen, who spent most of his career in Los Angeles and remained one of the most trusted targets in the building.
The fit in Indianapolis is easy to understand on paper, especially with Shane Steichen back in the picture after previously coaching Allen in Los Angeles. Allen still offers the kind of dependable route running and week-to-week stability teams lean on when the rest of the depth chart is in flux, but the move also closes another chapter of Chargers history for a player who defined an era there. Chargers Protection Plan For Justin Herbert Suddenly Looks Far Less Stable
The Chargers were counting on Tyler Biadasz to help steady the middle of the offensive line after bringing him in to protect Justin Herbert, but that plan took a major hit during a joint practice with the 49ers. Biadasz went down with a knee injury that immediately raised concern for Los Angeles, and the expectation now is that he will be sidelined for a significant stretch while he consults specialists and sorts out the next steps.
For a unit that has been trying to build some much-needed stability up front, losing the center is a tough setback to absorb this deep into camp. It leaves the Chargers weighing a sudden reshuffle in front of Herbert, with rookie Jake Slaughter emerging as the next man up and an important part of the conversation as the team tries to keep its protection plan from unraveling before the season even begins.
