A Shohei Ohtani card that checks just about every box a collector could dream up has surfaced in Florida, and it’s already being treated like the crown jewel of modern baseball cardboard.
The one-of-one dual gold logoman patch autograph card from 2026 Topps Chrome was uncovered at Boca Sports Cards in Boca Raton, Florida. It features two gold logoman patches tied to Ohtani’s back-to-back MVP seasons in 2024 and 2025, with each patch traced to a specific game.
The 2024 patch comes from his uniform after April 26, 2024, when he hit a home run at home in Dodger Stadium. The 2025 patch comes from his uniform on September 7, 2025, when he hit home runs No. 47 and 48 on the way to a 55-homer season.
Gold logoman patches first appeared in the 2025 product and are reserved for players who won MVP the previous season. Fanatics has extended that idea to other awards, including Cy Young and Rookie of the Year.
This one, though, sits in a different tier entirely. Grade10, a company of investors and collectors based in Hong Kong, has put a $10 million bounty on the card and wants to bring it overseas from America.
Part of what makes it so striking is the autograph treatment. Ohtani signed the card twice, once in English and once in his native Kanji, giving the piece a rare global appeal.
The discovery comes as The National Sport Collectors Convention has just opened, and card content producers are already feeding off the buzz from the floor in Chicago.
There’s also the bigger market question hanging over the card: what would it actually bring if it ever hit auction? Ohtani’s cards have been smashing records for more than a year, and just two weeks ago his 2018 rookie card set the mark for the highest Ohtani card sale. That card sold for north of $3 million via best offer on July 13, 2026.
That sale was for his 2018 Bowman Chrome Superfractor, a BGS Gem Mint 9.5 with two 10s on the subgrades. It’s a gorgeous rookie card, but it doesn’t have ink, and it doesn’t have game-used patches or bat pieces.
This new pull does. Two game-used patches, two styles of Ohtani’s autograph, and a bounty attached that already puts it in a category of its own. Whether someone would actually pass on the $10 million is another matter, but with Ohtani’s market climbing over the last two years, the open-auction number would be fascinating to watch.
