ANAHEIM -- Get ready, Angels fans, because this season's ballpark experience is leveling up in a way that's as fun as it is nostalgic. The Angels have teamed up once again with Bandai Namco to bring an arcade-inspired twist to Angel Stadium, and this year, they're going all out with the introduction of the PAC-MAN Chomp Stop.
Located right next to the “Level Up” arcade at section 240, the Chomp Stop is your go-to destination for sweet indulgences with a retro flair. While you can still enjoy your classic ballpark desserts, the real stars of the show are the PAC-MAN-themed treats.
Imagine sinking your teeth into PAC-MAN-shaped sugar cookies or Rice Krispies Treats that are almost too fun to eat. And if you're in the mood for something refreshing, the pineapple Dole soft serve is exclusively available here, making it a must-try for any fan.
But it doesn't stop at the treats. The Chomp Stop is all about the full experience, serving up food and drinks in specially designed PAC-MAN-themed vessels.
Picture this: your pineapple Dole soft serve served in a yellow PAC-MAN helmet, or sipping on regular and strawberry lemonade from a PAC-MAN cup. It's a delightful nod to the iconic game that adds an extra layer of fun to your ballpark visit.
“We have the original design collab with PAC-MAN from the original phase,” shared Chika Akashi, Bandai Namco's senior content strategy manager. “We’ve created a variety of vessels like ice cream helmets and cups that fans will love.”
The arcade experience remains as thrilling as ever, with free-to-play classics like World’s Largest PAC-MAN, PAC-MAN Battle Royale Chompionship, and PAC-MAN’s Pixel Bash. Plus, the Gashapon vending machines are stocked with tokens for purchase, offering fans the chance to collect miniatures of beloved anime and video game characters.
Mark your calendars, because the PAC-MAN Chomp Stop officially opens on April 3rd. It's a playful blend of baseball and arcade nostalgia that promises to make your day at Angel Stadium even more memorable.
