Alix Earle has social media talking again after a Las Vegas video set off a fresh round of dating speculation - this time involving Las Vegas Raiders rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
The buzz started when Earle posted a clip from a trip to Las Vegas and used ABBA’s “Fernando” in the background. That detail was enough for fans to jump on the connection, reading the song choice as a possible wink toward the quarterback and the rumors around them.
Mendoza, for his part, has already been clear about where he stands on dating. In college interviews, he said he wanted to stay single so he could stay locked in on football. “I don’t have time for a girlfriend.” he said.
He expanded on that mindset by explaining how fully he tends to commit when he does put energy into something. “I’m going to give everything my all, so if I have a girlfriend, I’m going to give her my all.”
Mendoza also pointed to the time demands that come with a relationship and the way they could pull from his routine. “That means, I’m gonna go back from 6 to 9 [p.m.] just to hang out with her.” he said.
He summed up his view of the distraction factor plainly: “Especially with the girls, it can be very distracting now.”
Earle’s personal life has long drawn attention online. Before her best-known relationship, she dated baseball player Tyler Almeida during her college years.
Her most public romance came in early 2023, when she started dating NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios. The two later moved into a home in Miami together in 2025 before splitting later that year.
After that breakup, she was briefly linked to NFL legend Tom Brady during a New Year’s Eve getaway.
