Maxx Crosby Linked With Teams as Raiders Mull Over His Trade Value

Amid swirling trade rumors, NFL insider Albert Breer weighs in on Maxx Crosby's true market value, shedding light on the evolving dynamics within the Raiders.

There's a lot of chatter surrounding the potential trade of Las Vegas Raiders' standout Maxx Crosby. After a tough 3-14 season, the five-time Pro Bowler is drawing interest from teams across the league.

The big question on everyone's mind is: What's the right trade value for the 28-year-old defensive end? NFL insider Albert Breer recently weighed in on "98.5 The Sports Hub," suggesting, "Probably a first-rounder and something else." Breer doesn't see it reaching the level of two first-round picks, comparing it to past trades involving players like Khalil Mack and Micah Parsons.

Maxx Crosby has been a Raider through and through since being drafted 106th overall in 2019. Over seven seasons, he's amassed 439 total tackles, 69.5 sacks, and 133 tackles for loss.

In 2025, Crosby recorded 73 tackles, 10 sacks, and 28 tackles for loss, despite being benched for the last two games due to injury. This decision reportedly didn't sit well with Crosby, fueling rumors of a possible offseason trade.

Amid these swirling rumors, Crosby shared his thoughts on the Raiders' new head coach, Klint Kubiak, on "The Rush with Maxx." Crosby praised Kubiak's track record and his ability to bring out the best in players, mentioning the success he's had with quarterbacks like Sam Darnold. Despite not having spoken directly with Kubiak, Crosby acknowledged the respect Kubiak commands around the league.

Kubiak, who led the Seahawks to a Super Bowl victory in 2025, has made it clear in his introductory press conference that he wants Crosby to remain a Raider, despite the trade talk.

As the offseason unfolds, the situation with Crosby will be one to watch closely. Whether he stays or goes, his impact on the field is undeniable, and any team would be lucky to have him anchoring their defense.
