Aaron Rodgers Linked to Raiders Amid Offseason Drama

The Las Vegas Raiders are eyeing veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers as a potential addition to bolster their roster, sparking intrigue over a possible collaboration with team owner Tom Brady.

The Las Vegas Raiders are making headlines this offseason with moves that have fans buzzing. A major talking point has been the failed trade involving defensive end Maxx Crosby.

The Baltimore Ravens were set to send two first-round picks to the Raiders, but the deal fell apart when Crosby didn't pass his physical. It's a twist that has left many wondering about the Raiders' next steps.

On the quarterback front, the Raiders are exploring their options. With Fernando Mendoza expected to go No. 1 overall in the upcoming NFL draft, the team is eyeing a veteran quarterback to mentor him. Among the names floated around is Aaron Rodgers, who could either return to the Pittsburgh Steelers or consider retirement.

An NFL executive commented on Rodgers' potential moves, saying, "He either goes back to Pittsburgh or tries something with Tom Brady in Las Vegas, or he hangs it up. He wants to be a starter.

It's down to those two teams... and that's if the Raiders really want him. It’s Pittsburgh or nothing, how I see it."

Rodgers, who joined the Steelers in 2025 and led them to an AFC North title, left a strong impression despite their early playoff exit against the Houston Texans.

Meanwhile, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler has reported that Joe Flacco is also on the Raiders' radar. Flacco, with his wealth of experience, could serve as a bridge if Mendoza needs time to adjust.

"Joe Flacco, who’s been around and started a lot of games, is available," Fowler noted. "Vegas is an option for him, and they have interest in potentially bringing him along as a backup or bridge."

The prospect of Rodgers and Tom Brady joining forces in Las Vegas adds an intriguing layer to the Raiders' plans, potentially setting the stage for a competitive push.
