Time is running out for Kentucky fans waiting on their first crack at single-game tickets for the 2026-27 basketball season.
The Wildcats will open up single-game sales for the first 10 home dates at Rupp Arena to the general public on Ticketmaster Tuesday at 5 p.m. EST. That group includes the three exhibition games - Little Rock, UCF, and Texas Tech - along with regular-season home games against Manhattan, James Madison, Northern Arizona, Grambling State, Wichita State, Appalachian State, and Bryant.
If you’re hoping to catch Kentucky against an SEC opponent in Lexington, those tickets won’t go on sale with this first wave. They’ll be released later, depending on availability.
“Single-game inventory for Kentucky basketball games is limited, as a majority of tickets are sold as season ticket packages or held as part of the student allotment,” UK Athletics shared. “Additional ticket inventory from the student allotment may be released to the public at a later date, based upon student sales.”
Kentucky’s marquee neutral-site date is also coming into focus. Mark Pope will be back at Madison Square Garden over Christmas for the CBS Sports Classic, where the Wildcats will meet North Carolina. It will be the first season for the Tar Heels under new head coach Michael Malone.
Fans who want a shot at those tickets need to move quickly. The presale registration window closes at Midnight tonight.
Those who secure a code can start buying tickets Tuesday at 11 a.m. EST, and the full public sale follows on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
The CBS Sports Classic has been around since 2014, and North Carolina owns the best record in the event at 8-4. Kentucky is right behind at 6-6.
Kansas is stepping in for St. John’s this year and will face Ohio State in the opener at Noon.

Kentuckys 2027 Recruiting Footprint Already Stands Out In The SEC
The early shape of the 2027 recruiting cycle is already giving SEC programs a clear geographic identity, and Kentucky is part of that conversation in a notable way. With 11 of the leagues 16 teams sitting inside the national top 25, the conference is again recruiting at a level that forces everyone to think beyond their own borders, but the Wildcats have still managed to carve out a footprint that stands out when compared with the rest of the leagues spread of classes and commit distances.
For Kentucky, the story is less about one splashy number than the broader trend of where the staff is landing players and how that fits into the SEC landscape. The Wildcats class is being measured against schools that are leaning heavily on nearby talent, others that are casting wider nets, and a handful that already have key commits shaping their direction, leaving Kentucky in an interesting middle ground as the 2027 board continues to take shape. Kentucky Got One Huge SEC Sign After That South Carolina Comeback
The SEC handed out its Week 5 football honors after a busy stretch of league play, and Kentuckys trip to South Carolina also ended up producing a notable recognition on the Wildcats side of the ledger. Along with offensive, defensive and special teams awards that went to players from around the conference, Kentucky landed one of the weeks position-specific honors tied to the line of scrimmage.
Lance Heard was the Wildcat singled out, a fitting nod after a game in which Kentucky needed steadiness up front to survive the road. His performance stood out well beyond the final score, with the kind of consistency and physicality that can swing an overtime game, and it gave Kentucky a timely SEC reminder that the work in the trenches still gets noticed when the league starts handing out awards. Kentucky Just Got Another Reason To Be Fired Up For LSU
Kentucky football is heading into Homecoming Week with a little extra buzz after grinding out an SEC road win at South Carolina, a result that helped steady the Wildcats as they get set to welcome LSU to Lexington. The football program still has some national respect, too, even if the AP voters moved Kentucky out of the Top 25, while the Coaches Poll kept the Wildcats in at No. 25.
Now the attention shifts to a matchup that already had plenty of intrigue, and this one comes with another layer of novelty attached. LSU arrives with Lane Kiffin making his first trip to Lexington as the Tigers head coach, giving Kentucky fans one more storyline to circle as the Wildcats try to carry their momentum into a big week on campus.
