The buzz around Kentucky football has reached a new level, and the ticket window for the next home game barely had time to breathe.
UK announced Sunday that its Oct. 24 matchup with Vanderbilt at Kroger Field is already sold out. That comes less than 24 hours after the Wildcats improved to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in SEC play with a 21-13 win over Oklahoma in Norman.
At this point, the only way in is through verified resale tickets. Those are listed starting at $117.
The sellout says plenty about where Kentucky football stands right now. The Wildcats are tied with Georgia for first in the SEC at 4-1, and they’re riding a five-game winning streak - the longest active run in the league, since no other SEC team has more than three straight wins.
Vanderbilt comes in at 3-4 overall and 0-4 in SEC play, the only conference team without a league victory. The Commodores lost to Arkansas on Saturday, 31-21, and handed the Razorbacks their first SEC win of the season.
Kentucky opened as a double-digit favorite, marking the first time all season the Wildcats have been favored against an SEC opponent.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
With a night game, the final day of the Keeneland fall meet and the way things are building in Lexington, the setting figures to be loud again. UK is asking fans to wear blue against the Commodores.

Ty Bryant Had A Bigger Reason Behind His Huge Night At Oklahoma
Ty Bryants night at Oklahoma stood out for the plays he made on the field, with the fourth-year Kentucky safety coming away with two interceptions and nine tackles in a game that demanded his attention all over the secondary. But the performance carried a deeper purpose, too, as Bryant used the moment to honor the memory of Neven Coofer, a 6-year-old child who recently passed away.
Bryant wore eye black that read Neven Forever 6 and made sure he was in touch with Nevens family before and after the game. For a player in the middle of a big night, it was a reminder that some of the most meaningful parts of football happen far from the stat sheet, and Bryant made sure his support was visible when it mattered most. Kentucky Fans Just Got A Very Different NBA Update On Two Wildcats
Oscar Tshiebwes NBA path took another step forward when the Houston Rockets converted his deal from an Exhibit 10 contract to a two-way agreement, giving the former Kentucky big man a clearer lane to split time between Houston and its G League affiliate. It is another chance for Tshiebwe to keep working his way into a deeper NBA role after previous stops with the Indiana Pacers and Utah Jazz.
Koby Breas situation moved in the opposite direction, with the Phoenix Suns waiving the former Wildcats guard and opening the door for him to become a free agent. For Kentucky fans, it is a reminder of how quickly the pro outlook can shift for players coming out of Lexington, with one Wildcat gaining traction and another suddenly available to find his next opportunity.
