Kansas State Welcomes Casey Alexander as New Era Begins

Casey Alexander steps into the spotlight as Kansas State's new head coach, bringing a winning legacy to the Wildcats.

Kansas State is gearing up to welcome a fresh face to their men's basketball program, as Casey Alexander steps in as the new head coach. This marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for the Wildcats, with Alexander set to be introduced at a press conference on Monday, March 16.

The introduction will take place in the Shamrock Zone, located on the north concourse of Bramlage Coliseum, at 11 a.m. Fans are encouraged to attend, and for those who can't make it in person, the event will be streamed live on ESPN+ and K-State's Facebook Live. If you're planning to be there, parking is available on the west side of the coliseum.

Alexander comes with an impressive resume, taking over from Jerome Tang, who departed the program in February. His coaching journey includes a successful seven-year stint at Belmont, his alma mater, where he clinched a Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title and earned Coach of the Year honors. Notably, Alexander guided Belmont to consistent 20-win seasons and achieved similar success during his time at Lipscomb.

For those eager to catch Alexander's introductory press conference, it will be available for streaming on ESPN+ and Facebook, bringing Wildcats fans closer to the action as this new era begins.
