Kansas State has added another offensive line target to its board, extending a scholarship offer to former LSU lineman Khayree Lee Jr.
Lee shared the news on social media, saying the Wildcats had offered him. A three-star recruit out of John Ehret High School in New Orleans, Lee redshirted his first season at LSU before transferring to Copiah Lincoln Community College.
He’s one of several recent prospects Kansas State has gone after as the program continues to build out its list of targets.
On the defensive line, the Wildcats offered Julian Dwyer, a three-star end from Cincinnati Moeller High School. Dwyer already holds offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Illinois and Indiana, and 247 Sports lists him as the 16th-best player in Ohio. Moeller, as the source noted, is one of the top programs in the nation.
Kansas State also offered Jekai Lee, a defensive end from Butler Community College. The 6-foot-6, 280-pound prospect has drawn interest from Florida International, Georgia State, Southern Mississippi and UTSA as well.
At tight end, the Wildcats have been busy too. Three-star Brady Reeves, who attends Hill-Murray High School in Maplewood, MN, added a Kansas State offer to a list that already includes Vanderbilt, Iowa State and Miami (OH). He sits just outside the top 20 at his position on 247Sports, and last season he caught 25 passes for 327 yards and nine touchdowns.
Another tight end, Sloan Blackwell, got his offer from Kansas State on Tuesday night. Blackwell plays at Waco Midway High School in Waco, TX, and also holds offers from Arizona, Syracuse and Arizona State. According to MaxPreps, he finished last season with 18 receptions for 254 yards and two touchdowns.
The Wildcats have also turned their attention to the offensive line beyond Lee. Jerry Richmond, an offensive lineman from East St.
Louis High School in East St. Louis, IL, has offers from Florida Atlantic, North Carolina and South Dakota.
And on Friday, Kansas State offered offensive tackle Asher Megonnell from Ankeny Centennial High School in Ankeny, IA. Megonnell, who is currently unranked, also has an offer from Big 12 rival Iowa State.
