Antonio Brown's Daughter Stuns With Track and Field Decision at Kansas

Following in her father's athletic footsteps, Antanyiah Brown is set to make her mark in track and field at the University of Kansas.

Antanyiah “Nyiah” Brown, a standout sprinter from North Miami Senior High School in Florida, has committed to taking her talents to the University of Kansas. The daughter of former All-Pro NFL receiver Antonio Brown, Nyiah announced her decision during a ceremony at her high school, surrounded by supportive family and classmates. The University of Kansas later confirmed her commitment on their social media platforms.

Choosing the Jayhawks over offers from schools like South Florida and Arkansas State, Brown donned a KU letter jacket as she signed her financial aid agreement, signaling the start of an exciting new chapter in her athletic career.

Brown's track record is impressive. As a junior, she placed fourth in the women’s 100-meter and seventh in the 200-meter at the Florida Class 3A state championships. Her speed also helped her school's 4x100 relay team secure second place with a time of 46.79.

Recently, Brown clinched victory in the 100-meter dash at the GMAC Invitational with a time of 12.08. She also posted times of 11.74 in the 100-meter and 23.97 in the 200-meter at the Ellis Elite 16 Invitational. Her personal best in the 100-meter is an impressive 11.66, achieved at the Dade County Youth Fair High School Championship.

Her father, Antonio Brown, left a significant mark in the NFL over 12 seasons, including a Super Bowl win with Tampa Bay in 2020. His legacy continues as Nyiah carves out her own path in track and field, bringing a legacy of athletic excellence to the University of Kansas.
