Royals Review is now available on the new SB Nation app, giving fans another way to keep up with the site and its community.
The app can be found by searching SB Nation on iOS or Android. SB Nation says it is designed to make following Royals Review easier, while also cutting down on ads and adding more community tools.
The site says the app is meant to make starting and joining conversations feel as simple as posting to a favorite social media platform. It also points to the Feed, which lets users pull in articles from more than one SB Nation site in one place. For anyone who only wants Royals coverage, that option is there too.
The app also includes gamethreads in their own section, making them easier to find and move through. Another feature highlighted by Royals Review is that comments load instantly, and users can still green their favorite sarcastic comments from members.
The launch comes after SB Nation made changes to its community setup a year ago, including fewer ads and the addition of the Feed. The new app is being presented as another step in that direction, with the site saying it wants feedback from users and noting that it is already working on an issue Jeremy Greco pointed out.
Royals Review says, “It’s a big day for Royals Review. Today, the SB Nation app is live, and it’s the best way to follow the Royals.”

The right-hander is scheduled to undergo shoulder surgery next week after a frustrating run of injuries wiped out his season and kept him from delivering the kind of bullpen help the Royals envisioned when they brought him in.
Estvez had not pitched since March, first dealing with a left foot contusion before a right rotator cuff strain added to the setback, and his velocity never fully came back during rehab.
