As the Kansas City Royals gear up for another thrilling baseball season, they're on the hunt for hundreds of seasonal, part-time workers to join the team at Kauffman Stadium. With Spring Training underway in Arizona, the Royals hosted a career fair at the Diamond Club to fill a variety of roles that will be crucial as fans return to the stands.
This hiring spree isn't just about filling seats-it's about enhancing the overall fan experience. Partnering with Aramark, the Royals are looking to staff positions in food service, bartending, and retail, ensuring every aspect of game day runs smoothly.
McKenzy Higgins, the talent acquisitions manager for the Royals, highlighted the wide range of opportunities available. Whether it's keeping the stadium in top shape or engaging with fans, there's a role for everyone. From maintenance to marketing, and from guest experience to ushering, the Royals are casting a wide net.
“We’re looking for a variety of different roles to support Kauffman Stadium, anything from stadium operations like sweeping, restroom attendance, all the way to marketing and development. So guest experience, outfield experience and usher roles, as well,” Higgins shared.
The Royals are embracing diversity in their hiring approach, welcoming applicants from all walks of life. Whether you're a high school student, a teacher, or someone stepping into the workforce for the first time, there's a spot for you at the stadium.
“There’s something for everyone. We can hire people as young as 16 years old, but we have a lot of teachers, students, even high schoolers come out to the stadium and work for us every season,” Higgins added.
Beyond the Royals' direct hires, Aramark is also on the lookout for concession workers, bartenders, and retail sales associates to keep the team store buzzing with activity.
For those who couldn't make it to the career fair, there's still a chance to join the team. Applications are being accepted online at Royals.com/careers and through Aramark at Careers.aramark.com. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of the excitement that comes with baseball season in Kansas City.
